about us
Two questions. Who are we? What is our mission?
The Peddie Psychology and Sociology Club is where curiosity meets action. We do not just study human behavior—we put it to the test. Through schoolwide mock studies, we give students hands-on experience with experimental psychology, allowing them to design, conduct, and analyze real behavioral experiments. Our mental health initiatives provide tangible support for the community, from organizing unwinding activities to ensuring access to mindfulness resources.
We actively connect students with professionals in psychology, sociology, and related fields, helping underclassmen and interested students find mentors who can guide their academic and career interests. We examine how upbringing, culture, and social structures shape identity and decision-making, turning abstract theories into meaningful discussions and projects. Our vast network also provides access to volunteer opportunities, internships, and outreach programs because understanding society means engaging with it. If you have ever questioned why people act the way they do or how to create real change, this is where you start!
